Bloodflow
Proper bloodflow is a critical component of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The circulatory system is the transport mechanism of oxygen and essential nutrition to cells and the removal of waste byproducts. The life of every cell and organ rests upon the proper functioning of this sytem. Poor circulation therefore can negatively impact every biological process.
The blood is composed of a few primary components. For the proper flow of these components it is necessary that the blood cells have proper spacing. The way this spacing is maintained is through a charge present on the exterior of the blood cell. Think of the way two of the same charge magnets repel eachother. Red blood cells maintain their spacing through an accumulation of electrons on the outside of the cell. Scientists can measure this charge and have named it the zeta potential of a red blood cell. When this charge or zeta potential is reduced it can cause a cascade of downstream effects. The first is clumping of red blood cells. Without a sufficient charge the red blood cells are unable to keep their spacing and flow smoothly through the body. When they begin to clump together, blood viscosity increases, which raises blood pressure and reduces circulation. As every cell in the body depends upon proper bloodflow, cellular function declines as circulation is impaired.
Restoring the charge on red blood cells can be accomplished through the delivery of electrons to the body. One way to do this is to eat a high amount of antioxidant foods. These are foods that have chemical components which are able to donate an electron to the body. A simpler and more potent way is to make direct contact with the earth which houses a nearly limitless reservoir of free electrons. When contact is made, electrons are transported through the body to where they are needed. A number of studies have shown that grounding has immediate impacts on the zeta potential of blood cells, restoring proper charge and thereby reducing blood clumping, blood pressure and increasing blood flow.
For modern humans it is often not practical to spend hours daily outside making direct contact with this source of electrons. However, every home is directly connected to the earth through the ground port of the electrical outlet (which is why it is called the ground port. It is essentally directly wired to a metal rod driven into the ground to collect these free electrons). Connecting through this port is the same as making direct contact with the earth. We offer products that make it convenient to access this reservoir of electrons at any time from the convenience of your home.
